….usually, the quickest easiest thing around.
Which means it usually isn’t the healthiest.
If I’m trying to fit in working out, work and wedding planning, when does that leave time to cook!?!
Uhm…NEVER!
I know…I know….You need to cook to really eat healthy and lose weight….BLAH BLAH BLAH.
BLEH!
I don’t have time!
Or at least I thought I didn’t.
But then I found a few simple recipes that I could make ahead of time for the week or prepare in only a few minutes!
YES!
Cooking actually doesn’t have to be the overwhelming task that everyone says it is!
AND I don’t always have to eat salads!
I make “Egg Muffins” ahead of time and eat them all week! They are delicious with some veggies and even a little bit of salsa and cheese!
Or I make bunless burgers with some grass-fed beef! Or even salmon!
These things are super quick or I can pop them in the oven, go do some work and then check back on them occasionally until they are done!
And it is even fun to get my fiancé to cook with me or switch off in making the meals.
(It can even be fun to see who makes the best meal of the week. He’s actually won every time….I guess I need to step up my game!)
