Hours of mindless walking, climbing and/or elipticals is not only boring, but also inefficient at improving your health and improving your fitness level.

These days, everyone is doing circuit training and randomly combining strength training, sprints, bodyweight drills to see how tired they can get.
In order to improve your cardiovascular health and increase energy, you need to tax all three energy systems.

- Alactic – Explosive bursts of effort, typically 10sec or less
