I started working out at IR in August (2013) and was instantly hooked on their workouts.
I found them(IR) through my BF who loves coming here. He would come home telling how he pulled sleds, towed chains, and all these other crazy workouts. I thought he was crazy! I would imagine a bunch of egotistical meat heads working out and was convinced I couldn’t do it. He would always ask me if I wanted to go and my first thought was NO!! I’m 5’4 and 115lbs. My idea of working out is doing Bikram Yoga 4 days a week. I’m not a strong person at all so I finally decided to give them a try.
I will say I was initially really intimidated and pretty much convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to hang. I feel silly now for having those thoughts. The staff here is top notch. They really work with you and finds accommodations if you don’t feel comfortable doing something. They push you, but not to where you will hurt yourself. I feel so much stronger. I’m actually doing those crazy workouts my bf was bragging about.
I really have to thank the staff for being so patient with me. IR is hands down the best gym I have ever come across.
Ladies, do yourself a favor and call them.
