I am sure you have seen it. You go to the gym, and somebody is performing circus tricks in the corner.
Or you take your kids to the park, and somebody is trying to flip around a bar.
Flipping tires, climbing ropes, pressing heavy weight, and throwing your body around a bar is impressive, but it can also seriously injure someone that doesn’t know how to properly work their body.
Trying to do the crazy and cool unconventional exercises without proper instruction and proper body awareness and control is like some having shiny rims on a crappy car. It doesn’t even look cool.
Innovative Results uses many unconventional training techniques and styles to help people look better, feel better, and move better, and we make sure the coaches and clients have a high level of body awareness and control before they advance to more difficult and complex exercises. We understand that if the complex exercises are done wrong, it could be catastrophic.
When it comes to unconventional training there are certain foundational abilities that must be mastered before a person can perform the technical and widely publicized movements and exercises of the unconventional training world.
Most people cannot climb up a 50 foot rope, flip a 400 pound tire, and swing a 32 kg kettlebell without risking severe injury, so what do we teach our clients to master before we have them perform technical and difficult unconventional training movements and exercises?
