Gladiator Rock n Run
Dan Clark aka “Nitro” from the American Gladiators brings you the most insane one day event on the planet. We hosted a series of workouts to prepare the competitors and build a sense of community for the participants.
Team Building Workouts for Local Companies
We’re in the creative business and to stay at the top of our game, we must be sharp, be focused and be inspired. As the CEO/Partner, it’s my responsibility to make sure our team performs at our pique and that we all lead happy, healthy and productive lives.
One of the vehicles we’ve employed is a company warrior workout every Friday at 430pm with our personal trainer, Eddie, at Innovative Results. We’ve been doing this for 8 months now and the results have far exceeded our expectations. The initial goal was twofold. First, we work long hours and we wanted to ensure that we had a hard out on Fridays to get everyone home to his or her friends and families. Hard work doesn’t always mean smart work and I want everyone here happy and rested. Secondly, we wanted a team event that extended beyond pizza and beer. We’ve done softball leagues, beer Fridays, etc., and while they can be fun, they lack any real challenge and there are no long-term benefits.
This one simple hour at the end of our week has proven to be the great “palate cleanser”…one final hour together of living in the moment, at times, in great pain.
Regardless of the type of week we’ve had, we end it all in gym clothes, sweating, pulling for each other and pushing hard. At the end of it, there is a great sense of achievement that seems to parallel the mountains we also climbed during the week. It is unspoken, but we all feel it. The physical work we do together at these workouts has manifested in healthier lifestyles and we can see quantitative results in our work. The physical/mental connection is undeniable. There is a hard cost that any accountant or CFO would surely question (ours did), but now I cannot imagine the cost of NOT doing it. We look forward to it all week and it’s proven to be an effective tool in our arsenal to stay at the top of our game.
OKC One Hour Long Cycle to Aid Japan
The Long Cycle is an exercise in which you must first clean the kettlebell to your chest(rack position) and then perform a jerk with the kettlebell to an overhead arm lockout position. The clean and jerk (long cycle) are performed over and over again without setting the kettlebell down. Repetitions or length of duration depends on individual choice.
A workshop that involved a variety of athletes, military personnel and business owners that exposed people to stories of overcoming life’s obstacles, staying focused and not letting life throw us off course.
Runners are constantly injured, so we decided tho host a workshop specifically for runners to help them learn preventative techniques to stay healthy, avoid pain and run more efficiently.
Battling Ropes Certification
Battling ropes are one of the hottest topics in gyms around the world and Innovative Results leads the way. We have had the privaledge of hosting John Brookfield several times, have almost half of the worlds Level 2 instructors and continue to use the ropes everyday in our programs.
IKSFA Kettlebell Instructor Course
IKSFA coaches, Sergey Rudnev and Sergey Rachinskiy hold over 14 World Titles in Competitive Kettlebell lifting. They traveled all the way from Siberia, Russia to teach us some of their secrets and refine our technique with the kettlebell and improve our effectiveness as coaches. While lots of coaches may learn kettlebell technique from Youtube, we have been so fortunate to learn from some of the best coaches in the entire world! Incredible experience!!
Newport Beach Triathlon
Innovative Results was brought in to help educate the participants on proper exercise, nutrition, warm up and more. Triathletes have huge demands and long hours of training, so helping them get dialed for their race is crucial.
IR Bikini Bash
This was such an incredible event! Ladies ONLY were invited to a short, half day workshop that involved talks on nutrition, exercise, rest, stress, mobility drills, and more. The event was sponsored by several local and national companies that provided incredible gift for every lady that attended.
Great Park Mud Run in Irvine
If you’ve ever participated in a mud run, you know that they are all about having fun. Innovative Results was brought in to stir up the crowd, warm em up before the race and to raise the energy of the event. Aaron and Jeff brought the noise and it was one of the most fun days we have had in a while.
