There are a lot of people out there that are dissatisfied with their lives.
Maybe they are stuck in a dead end job, overweight or just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
In order to turn things around, many of us cram our days with education, work, check lists, workouts, activities and more. Striving to do more than the next guy and pave way for a future, some stability and some sense of achievement.
In my twenties I kinda lost my way and became frustrated as a personal trainer working in a major health club chain.
The corporate structure, long hours, low pay and overall environment had piled up and I was unhappy.
I didn’t have a plan of attack, but eventually left that job in search of something better.
After a couple years of working on my own, I moved to California in search of a change of pace.
I wanted to be productive, make an impact and get my life going in the right direction. I became absorbed in learning about training, running a business, marketing, social media, SEO, different types of advertising, copywriting, networking, design, websites and so much more. I listened to books on tape, went to seminars, workshops and spent countless hours trying to get ahead and make a little footprint in a new city. From the moment I woke up until I went to bed, I was determined to make a footprint in a new city.
In the past five years, I have gone through a massive learning curve and experienced a lot of changes. Some good, some bad, but they have all helped me grow and I have learned a lot of great things. Fortunately, I stumbled across some amazing people that have helped guide me, offer advise and help us grow more efficiently.
Building any business is a tough road and requires a tremendous amount of focus, hard work and patience.
Add on a bad economy, and a business owner has to work triple time to make ends meet and to stay ahead of the competition.
Does any of this sound familiar?
Do you feel like you’re working harder than ever?
Burning the candle at both ends?

I personally learned a lot from this article and have been working hard over the last couple years to find some balance between work and other areas of my life.
When to work, check emails, social media, take time off, and enjoy all that life has to offer.
If you are addicted to productivity, I hope this article offered a new perspective.
While making money and getting ahead can be a challenge, the things that are free are still the most important.
Family, friends and the relationships in your life are most important.
Give this some thought as you go about your day.
Hope it helps.

This is really good, Corey! I've been learning that taking time to be intentional with family relationships is so important, but not to be too methodical with it. Take time to call your mom spontaneously or drop a note on your bros FB that you appreciate him!
