Fitness Training with Innovative Results
This is the process by which a being may seek to manifest physical goals through physical action and adaptation.
Progressive Overload
Progressive overload, an incremental increase in work beyond “normal” ranges, is the single most important concept for improvement and one of the most misunderstood concepts in personal training. To create a well-designed, progressively overloaded training regimen, a trainer must answer the following questions:
• What is being done today?
• How does it relate to what was done yesterday?
• How does it relate to what is being done tomorrow?
The answers to these questions help to develop the periodization needed for success in movement training.
Periodization
Periodization is the process of breaking down results-oriented training into focused periods. For example, to create body fat loss, one focuses workouts into periods of lean body mass gain, optimization of caloric burn, and increased cardiovascular effort. Flexibility, for functional range of motion, force, speed, power and stamina/endurance, also plays a key role in overall fitness).
Functional Training
Functional training is training which relates both to daily life and an enhancement to athletic performance. This dual benefit is created by training particular movements. Functional training allows for maximum performance, maximum caloric burn, and maximum mental and kinetic awareness. Its simple essence comes from carefully studying the human body and its movement.
There are five basics of human movement:
• Push (pressing)
• Pull (rowing/curling)
• Twist (rotating)
• Up/Down (lowering or raising the body; elevation changing),
• Locomotion (moving the whole body in a direction).
Each of these movements is trained utilizing progressive overload for an enhanced body.
Mental
How does one think of himself or herself? How does one think of others? How does one process movement before it is performed? How does one think to then create movement? All of these are valid questions in a comprehensive lifestyle model. It is the way one thinks that provides the motivational basis for the way one acts.
In fitness training with Innovative Results, the mental side enables an individual’s mind to conceive the idea they are a beautiful and powerful being. This conception occurs as a result of discipline, accountability, determination, motivation, inspiration, and conquering daily challenges. One must overcome adversity to realize success. One must know failure to realize fully what winning is.
The thought process can be changed. It can be molded. It can be taught. It can be learned. But the individual’s mind must become open to new ways of thinking. Jaiya Figueras, a leading athletic performance coach, once said, “I would take an above average athlete with open ears over a star athlete with no ears.” In other words, if you are a great athlete you are only made better by your ability to listen and process new information. Fitness training with Innovative Results can help provide that mental ability.
Fitness training with Innovative Results provides mental toughness. Mental toughness is a term used to define the limit to which one’s mind can take the body—which is usually far beyond the average person’s perceived physical limits. Fitness training with Innovative Results enables relaxation under pressure. Fitness training with Innovative Results promotes the relief of chronic daily stress. Fitness training with Innovative Results educates in all areas of life, giving a superb metaphor and function to daily actions and interactions. Fitness training with Innovative Results creates positive change, which begins with positive thoughts, and then turns into positive action—positive action is fueled by positive energy and positive direction.
Spirit Force
This is a concept that goes beyond the physical, beyond mental, and charts its course in the energy or concepts derived from a source which is seemingly indefinable. This is the human spirit, this is the winning spirit. This is the will of one, the will of a team, or especially the will of the God. There is no observable physical connection of body and spirit , but it can be formed from movement to drive success.
